Research Detail:

The purpose of the project is to enhance the capacities of individuals and institutions to undertake and utilize policy-relevant research for improving people’s wellbeing and reducing climate change induced vulnerability related to food and nutrition security in east and southern Africa (ESA). The project will host a symposium/workshop bringing together the research teams involved in the IDRC funded projects and some of their stakeholders, for exchanging research results and experiences; consolidating knowledge; and strengthening the capacity of researchers and students in ecohealth approach and climate change adaptation research. The project target 5 on-going projects in Botswana, Malawi, South Africa, Tanzania and Uganda. The projects are members to the EcoHealth for the East and Southern Africa region (ECOHESA) network
